Thank you to 80’s Skaties for sharing your space and Lake Macquarie City Council for having us as part of the Women in Sport Festival. Newcastle Roller Derby League displayed some of their game skills (blocking, offence etc) during a demonstration drill.
If you love skating and love the 80's, come down and check 80's Skaties at Speers Point Park from 6-8.30pm on Friday nights. It's the perfect spot for beginners and advanced skaters, with polished concrete making it great for smooth skating. It's free family-friendly fun for all ages, we are also wheelchair friendly, so come give it a go.
